Works progress on 428-unit Large Residential Development (LRD) in Sandyford

Work is progressing on the SHD RB Central project within the Sandyford Business District. The development had previously secured permission from An Bord Pleanála for substantial amendments under the new Large Residential Development (LRD) framework. These updates maintained the core elements of the original design while significantly enhancing its overall aesthetic and functionality.

Recently, a new application was submitted to Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to extend the planning permission by up to five years. This type of request must be made within one year and 45 days before the expiration of the original planning approval, with the stipulation that the development continues to comply with the conditions and plans of the initially granted application.
