It is about the value you add and your impact on the business. workplace visibility is important especially in online and the hybrid kind of work environment we have Post-Covid. You must also learn to communicate your skills, talent and expertise effectively this can be in terms of report, presentation etc. Workplace visibility is about your originality and authenticity in adding value to the business.

1.??????Contribute: Do not stay quiet. Contribute valid and valuable ideas. The beautiful thing is that you can learn how to contribute in meetings or in a gathering. If you have an idea of what the meeting agenda is, go ahead and do some research on the topic of discussion. Be willing to contribute. Stop hiding under the excuse of I am an introvert, I don’t like talking. You have to step out of some zone or personality to balance in the workplace. This sort of workplace contribution is necessary and important for your growth in the organization.

2.???????Let your KPI speak for you: I was once in a conference and someone asked a question How can I be visible in my workplace, The speaker answered “overperform on your KPI”, Your KPI is what the organization wants you to achieve. What are the pain points of your organization, what solution are you solving, If you are performing, you will be noticed, everyone wants to be associated with a performer

3.??????Organization Citizenship: Organizational citizenship is the behavior and actions you have towards your organization. ?Internalize the workplace culture, it is easy to know the staff who knows and represents the workplace culture. Are you proud of the organization you work for? How passionate are you about what you do? Yes, you might be earning what you want or you might feel you are worth me. However, your performance should show that you understand your role and impact in that organization. Do you bring down the organization with your mouth or actions, do you drive the organization's culture?

4.???????Add Value: When you add value, value will come back to you. Value will find you. The value will notice you. Do not work because someone is watching you, be true to yourself. Ask yourself, can you employ yourself to work in your organization?

5.???????Good character: Don't be a skilled staff yet with a bad attitude, you won't last. You need good character and skills to stay visible. I am sure you have heard of skilled employees who have no character. As a skilled employee, you will get the job because you are skilled, however, a good character will help you get recommendations, retain and increase clients and build a profitable business network. Your character says a lot about your person

6.??????Positioning: Be deliberate about how you Position yourself. Be deliberate about your office clique, be deliberate about how you project yourself onsite and offsite. What you talk about, your interest. What you say and write about on social media. They are matter in your positioning. The things you pay attention to says a lot about your person

7.??????Service: Offer to help when you can. Be willing to share knowledge, don't hoard knowledge and valuable information, however, you need to be careful, don't serve at the detriment of your tasks. Volunteer to take on that project, Volunteer to show up and show up well, Volunteer to lead that team. Be ready when you are asked to show up especially in the case of situational leadership.

8. Key stakeholders: Identify who the key stakeholders are in your organization, Have a relationship with these key stakeholders. Can they vouch for you? Can they recommend you based on the value you offer?
