TODAY'S NEWSLETTER CONTENT:
As the Executive Director of the American Mindfulness Association , this is a common question my members are asking. While it is impossible to predict the future with certainty, it seems likely that workplace mindfulness will continue to be a popular practice in the coming years. In fact, this is why the association exists - to support the ethical profession of workplace mindfulness. There is growing evidence that mindfulness can have numerous benefits for employees, including reduced stress, increased focus and productivity, improved communication, and better overall well-being.
Many organizations have already embraced mindfulness as a way to enhance employee engagement and retention, and as a means of creating a more positive and supportive work culture. As more companies recognize the value of investing in the mental health and well-being of their employees, it seems likely that mindfulness practices will continue to gain in popularity. In fact, Udemy just named Mindfulness its #3 top learning skill for 2023. You can learn more here .
It is also worth noting that mindfulness is not a one-size-fits-all solution and that different individuals and organizations may have varying levels of interest and commitment to this practice. As such, it is important to continue to research and explore the best ways to integrate mindfulness into the workplace and to tailor these practices to meet the needs and goals of individual employees and organizations.
Mindfulness is here to stay when we come together in an ongoing way to support the science and secular nature of the practices and continue to educate consumers and companies on the workplace and business value it brings.

Mindful Action:
America’s mental health is in crisis. Close to two-thirds of adults (63%) said their life has been forever changed by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to?APA’s 2022 Stress in America poll . Many reported worse mental health, lower physical activity, disturbed sleep, and increased reliance on unhealthy habits—all of which have an impact on employees’ health and well-being, the workplace environment, and productivity.
