"Generational cohorts give researchers a tool to analyze changes in views over time."-Pew Research Center. Generation Z is the point of discussion nowadays . Why ?? Does age difference do bring a change in maturity or also mindset and the way things are handled.
How to handle Generation Z -
1) They are innovative by nature and focus more on balancing work-life - so provide them ways to brain storm and come to solutions . They prefer to find a fun element at work place so that they keep themselves engaged , so it can be seen that organizations nowadays have mental health policies, engaging and bright atmosphere , and interiors , flexi timings . They are not comfortable to sit for prolonged hours and go through theoretical outputs
2) They prefer to learn by experience - they prefer to learn by working or by a live example to learn in details and implement .
3) When you want to retain your Gen Z, better you have a practice of open dialogue without any judgement. Sharing an open feedback may also be a success to avoid maximum turnover.

4) They love variety, they do not like to stick to a single role for a longer time and ready to put their best . Continuous learning, learning new things and growth are the key elements which they love to experience in an organization.
5) They are more of collective catalysts for change, that can be used to bring in strategic and culture change . Instead of judging, the leaders should harness these traits to evolve in new culture and development.
6) Gen Z are those people who need attention . Once you know to value and appreciate them and grow them in challenging environments , they agree to stick back to you .
Alike the other generations , where the job market used to rule , presently Gen Z picks up their job from the market . So choose and pick have become the option as the world of information and opportunities are open to them . They want support , a strong sense and purpose of both the role and the organization do attract Gen Z a lot . They prefer to break the stereotypical mindsets and carry a brand new concept to change the outlook of the organization as a whole .
Previous generations , who are presently the managers and leaders to Gen Z do need to take special attention on focus, retention, growth, flexibility, change and humanity as its more of the experience you give to Gen Z which they carry through various mediums to the external world. Thus engaging them properly will help the company to attract the best talents in the entry level who can be grown as future leaders .#GenZ #employeesgenz

1 年Well thought through Sangita Sarkar It's important to note that individual characteristics and preferences can vary widely within any generation, including Gen Z. Employers should adopt a flexible and adaptive approach to accommodate the needs and strengths of all their employees, regardless of their generational background. #GenZ
