Workplace Burnout - Preventing & Handling Stress

Workplace Burnout - Preventing & Handling Stress

Workplace burnout to me is an emotional state where a person feels mentally exhausted or unproductive due to external stressors on the job. A series of factors are often responsible, such as impractical job expectations, socially-challenging work environment, etc.

It is a common occurence for professionals to experience workplace stress, even when they love what they do. I have had to deal with overwhelming exhaustion a few times in the past due to complicated job demands.

As I have evolved at Credit Capital Services Limited , I have developed various ways to prevent work burnout and handle stress on the job. An essential tool is the practice of mindfulness. Once I feel overwhelmed, I bring myself back to the here and the now. Workplace burnout is oftentimes a result of circumstances beyond our control, so I try to focus on what matters. I remind myself that I am efficient and productive, regardless of whatever external factors may be in play.

To handle burnout, workers can also engage in activities such as meditation and exercise. A healthy sleep pattern is also another helpful way to overcome stress at the workplace

One final tip, just be yourself and don't get entangled.
