Working in Turkey - Personal Point of View

It is very strange that in every business gathering I attended, meeting, conference or random socialization among the first questions I am facing why Turkey?
Why I have chosen Turkey for my career? Do I regret it?
I don’t like at all to regret decisions I am taking because I am trying always to make the SWOT analysis for any decision before I take it,
I remember very well, 2011 as a co-founder of the regional NGO: ?Dialogue Association for Culture and Creativity ?working on cultural exchange, dialogue and mutual understanding between cultures, I was invited by Anna-Lindh foundation to attend a training about dialogue between civilization, and that training was to take place in #Istanbul. The city I read a lot about and more about its history in our early years in college.
I landed in Istanbul on a Turkish airline flight and stayed at a hotel in Beyoglu just 100 mtrs from the youth center in Beyoglu, the training was for 7 days, we had a ferry tour, dinner in a traditional restaurant just in front of Galata Tower, had some walks around the city and just felt in love with it.
These days most of Mauritanian students were staying in line the whole night in front of the French embassy, and I just got my letter of acceptance from a French university in Metz.
From that day, I decided that instead of France I will be heading to Turkey and will continue my studies in Galatasaray, the main reasons by that time were:?
-?????????learning new language
-?????????Living in a stunning city that owned every part of me.
-?????????Geographical location and the potential the country was showing in term of economical growth and the activation of the business lines between Turkey-Africa
