Working with a script and B roll to improve my video

It's fair to say that sometimes my videos can be a bit long-winded. Watch one of my long-form videos and you quickly use the will to live.

But I've been watching a lot of tutorials about video production on YouTube to try up my game. Many of the great video creators recommend scripting out a video beforehand. This will keep your video on track and help you to tighten it up.

Another technique that is strongly recommended is using B Roll. What is that I hear you ask ( not you Nick and all of you folks that know what you are doing )

For us newbies, B roll is supplemental footage added to a film to enhance its intellectual impact. An actor's brief speech or action, such as Clicking a trigger, can be captured in the video, and the resulting image can be used to highlight the scene and add impact.

So armed with my trusty iPhone I thought to myself, let's give it a go.

But first I needed a topic. What could be more riveting than me cutting my lawn? ??

And there was an added benefit. Wendy had been getting onto me for weeks about doing more to help so this way I could kill two birds with one stone. ??

The result is this video. If you have nothing better to do, which I doubt very much, why not give it a view. If nothing else you get to see my posh garden ??

I apologise for the lack of captions, I let my caption generator subscription expire as I thought that I could use YouTube to auto-generate the captions for me. It can be done but could I work it out. Not a cat in hell's chance. ??
