Working as a Sales Analyst Intern at Masco Support Services
My summer internship experience at? Masco Support Services ?(MSS) as a?Sales Analyst Intern?was an exceptional and rewarding opportunity. I had the privilege to work with?Masco Product Services, where I gained valuable insights into the world of recommerce of home goods. Under the guidance of my mentor? Azhia Cotton ?and my manager Michael Haas , I was exposed to new-age analytical tools and had hands-on experiences that enriched my knowledge and skills.

During the internship, I was given the chance to work with a wide array of tools, mainly focused on?Microsoft Office Suite. These tools were integral to the Sales Analytics process, enabling me to analyze large-scale datasets efficiently and extract meaningful insights for decision-making.
One of my primary responsibilities was to develop a one-stop dashboard for the Masco Product Services team by leveraging large, unstructured data. This involved creating data connections on the backend and connecting various data sources. Along with this, I created various reports on the dashboard with visuals using PowerBI that enabled the team in leveraging the data for their day-to-day operations.
While working with the MPS team and understanding about the recommerce market, I also had a chance to engage with other teams at Masco Support Services. I was able to understand how the team at MSS was supporting both internal and external customers by helping analyze trends in Sales, helping forecast for SKUs across various segments, and also FP&A.
Throughout the internship, Masco Support Services provided ample learning opportunities, from detailed workshops on reporting tools to access to a wide array of learning resources. These resources not only enhanced my technical skills but also broadened my perspective on the intersection of the consumer retail market and technology.
In conclusion, my summer internship at Masco Support Services as a Sales Analyst Intern has been a transformative experience. The knowledge and skills acquired during this internship will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors in the field of sales analytics and beyond.
