S-type tension load cell sensor is a more common type of load cell sensor. It is mainly used to measure the pressure and tension between solids. It is usually called a tension pressure sensor. Because it looks like an S shape, it is customarily called an S-type tension load cell sensor. The load cell sensor is made of alloy steel material, sealed and protected by glue, easy to install, convenient to use, suitable for batching scales, crane scales, machine-remodeled scales and other electronic force measuring and weighing systems.
The working principle of the S-type load cell sensor: the elastic body (elastic element of tension load cell, sensitive beam) will be elastically deformed under the action of external force, so that the resistance strain gage (conversion element) pasted on its surface will also be deformed. The deformed resistance strain gage, Its resistance value will become larger or smaller, and then the resistance change will be converted into an electric signal (voltage or current) by the corresponding measuring circuit, thus completing the process of transforming the external force into an electric signal.
The installation form of this form of tension load cell sensor is the installation form of the fixed base load cell sensor, and the load cell sensor is placed in the three fixed posts of the wireless hook scale during installation. Therefore, it is required to be used in occasions where the temperature change range is not large. Its advantage is that it can improve the stability of the scale body, and it is convenient to install and debug. When installing the tension load cell, you should also pay attention to:
1:In order to prevent large current from flowing through the tension load cell sensor, a short-circuit piece should be installed between the sensors to prevent accidental high current from flowing and burning it. Even so, it is best to use the electronic checkweigher to remove the pressure load cell sensor when welding is required, and then install the tension load cell after a few tasks.
2:The indenter should be made of 20mm thick chromium steel. The bottom surface of the indenter should be processed into a circular arc, and its radius should be more than 3 times the radius of the sensor tension load cell dome, and it should be heat treated to increase the hardness of the indenter. The fixing plate shall be made of No. 45 steel, its thickness shall not be less than 20mm, and the level of installation shall not exceed ±0.5°.
