Working in Parts Means You Can Never Roll Your Eyes

(At least not when then the guy at the parts counter can see you.)

In the late seventies, I began my career in the parts department and worked in that role until the mid-nineties. I'm saying this to claim my right to poke a little fun at my peers and myself.

I have been a small part of "pranks" such as:

1. high altitude brake fluid
2. Sending new employees off to find a basement that didn't exist
3. Selling new employees that Coca Cola [not the generic brand] will work as a rust remover
4. Sending condensers out charged so someone gets zapped by them.

Thank goodness for mechanics and parts staffers alike.
