Working as Heart for Organization or Company Document Control / Archive Department

Few years ago Document Control / Archive Department Consider as sideline or inoperable?department for any organization or company but when its come to 20th century where every thing is globalize its important appears in number of companies, specially in Construction Companies.

This Department works as heart for any organization or company, where you have number of documents in / out per day but when you have a centralized documents system in place you may get information in few seconds and to get or have right information timely, effect working efficiency of all departments which might shows on company progress.

Well to some extent its true earlier document control department only work as information storage for any company but later enhancements and improvisation made huge difference, this department help companies for their accountability system of departments, management, KPI's report, close follow up on issues and in other way you may say that this department is central hub for company departments, where all information and progress may find easily.

Numbers of data managements software's already developed like, share point, Aconex, PCM and other in house software's which enhance this filed in new way, but in other hand we have to understand first companies and work requirements to create, developed and implement document Control procedures, which may help to work more efficiently then to work on created module of data management software, ISO Certified companies working more efficiently then other companies because number of requirements already mentioned in their audit sheets but still as per my opinion they have to enhance their audit requirements regarding document control section, during my short career of 11 years, I faced 5 Internal audit and 3 external audit, in three external audit i did not get any observation or NCR's and one of external Audit i was awarded with core value coin from CEO of Parsons.

To make sure heart Pumped well for organization, we have to value this department, this department is no more like earlier that we think this department only belongs to clerical job, in this era if this department works efficiently all other departments of company can work more confidently and effectively.
