In the past few years seems like everything happened, and it is useless to say now, in 2023, that life will never be the same. So many things changed that in the last 3 years, 10 had passed. The habits, how we interact, and even how we wash our hands changed, and so did how we #work and think about work life. We propose to explore this subject together.

Back-to-office trend

At the beginning of 2020, many of us were absolutely horrified by the fact we were forced to work in the same space we were living our day-to-day life, about how the line between work and personal life became blurry, and how not interacting directly with coworkers made us feel alone. According to?Harvard Business Reviews , 82% of #business decision-makers say getting back to the office in person is a priority, but #employees need more proof that this would benefit both parties. And who can blame them?

Productivity growth - the surprise of the Covid19 Pandemia

Humans are powerful beings, and we proved so in the last few years. Several psychological characteristics, such as extraversion, grit, gratitude, and resilience, have been protective factors for well-being during COVID-19. In the last quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2021, euro area labor #productivity growth accelerated compared to before the pandemic. This information should mean that it would be in favor of business owners everywhere for the work-from-home system to continue, but while the productivity grew, people now feel more anxious and burnt out. This is one of the proofs that, in the long run, exclusively #remote jobs are not sustainable, and at least a form of #hybrid work should be considered for a healthy work-life balance.?

We think all the failures are easier to get through when you have a support group, and all the wins are sweeter when shared. Thirdly, we invest in our #wellbeing . Our offices have a design that ensures we feel inspired, having many options to relax when tired or just change the scenery when those ideas don't come.??

The advantages of working from the office

At Veo Worldwide Services, we value experiences that bring us together. In 2022 we organized so many HR events and sports competitions we can't count. And we had a blast! And the fun we have brings even more advantages. This is one way of practicing #collaboration and #interdepartmental communication and ensuring our well-being at work is in check. An excellent way to clear one's mind and feel much happier, with a positive effect on mental health, our HR department constantly tries to find new and creative ways to animate the international Veo team.?

No one says the work-from-home trend hasn't brought to attention some critical facts in the relationship employer-employee. For example, the flexibility you need regarding family issues is, in 2023, just as normal as the complete #engagement the employer needs from people during business hours.
