Working From Home
I started learning programming without defining a clear goal. Maybe something appeared online that caught my attention, or a friend recommended me a?task series, or I am a coder and I decided to make my own app.
Here’s the thing. Learning to code is like climbing a mountain.
I’ll go from online to online, learn all the necessary issues, tricks, and best practices until I am done with a application and I realize that that’s not the end of the road. There’s so much more to learn, it’s more challenging, and I am probably lacking motivation.
I have all been there. What I learned from my experience is that rather than starting a new journey with a new app, start with a plan and a find questions.
Don’t get me wrong — learning to code is an essential part of becoming a coder. But I do more than just mash the keyboard. My job includes a lot of planning, designing, problem-solving, brain-storming, collaborating with others, and risk-taking.
Along with learning to code, pay attention to how my computers work, networking, the cloud, and things like SDLC, and project management that benefit me when i am working in an IT.
Languages all have somewhat similar purposes and are either used for web or app development.
Once I find answers to my questions and figure out what i am looking for I will add function in app. Start with simple tasks and short times, and gradually work towards easier challenges. Try to have a positive mindset, to be organized, confident, determined, self-motivated, and the rest will follow.
