Working as an electrical engineer in Norway

Our norwegian customer, Mucnk Cranes AS, is a leading company in the construction, production, service, maintenance and assembly of cranes and other lifting equipment. Here you will have the opportunity to be involved in the entire process, from the initial planning and construction to the production, delivery and installation of cranes that are delivered to the customer.

Mucnk Cranes is located in the region of Bergen on the west coast of Norway.

The order book is well filled. In addition, the company wants to work in a greener and more environmentally conscious way, in accordance with guidelines developed by Skift, Sintef, WWF and Deloitte.

As an electrical engineer at the company you will be involved in customizing, designing and developing relay or frequency-controlled standard cranes, in close collaboration with engineers in other fields.

We are looking for an electrical engineering/PLC engineer to join our team. This is a permanent and full-time job.

Job requirements

You have

• a higher education (Bachelor or Master) in electrical engineering.
• preferably experience in customizing, designing and developing relay or frequency controlled standard cranes
• good knowledge of PLC

Your work

• Customizing, designing and developing relay or frequency controlled standard cranes
• Upgrading existing cranes
• Supervising own projects and projects of the department
• Willingness to travel occasionally

We use modern programs such as E3, Eplan, Schneider Machine Expert and SoMove or Siemens TIA.

Our control cabinets are mainly built in our own factory and mounted on our cranes. It is therefore possible to be involved in all processes including the assembly of the cranes at our customers.
