Working Class Voters Aren’t “Feeling” Kamala’s JOY

Been a little quiet on-line these days as we are in the midst of the busy Fall home restoration projects….which I enjoy doing myself

The usually painting (of course)

…this year the outside of our three-season sun porch with all it’s stately Doric Columns and uber detailed embellishments …slowly - lovingly tended with excellent results

..yet my big project of the year is pulling up the wall to wall in the central hallway ( 20’ x 14’) to restore its truly amazing floor

…one hundred and twenty years ago such craftmanship was just how homes were built

…the floor is a mixture of bird’s eye, tiger maple configured in a picture frame style

….what’s even more remarkable is the wall to wall carpet

…fifty years old – washed and rewashed – still not looking worn

…the three plus inch padding which was stamped with the word Extraordinaire

--- looked brand new and could have been repurposed by someone –this type of quality is something we are not producing in our current times

Off to HD to rent the massive sander and stuff with my envelop of gift cards that my children-- gifted as they know how much I love my home projects

The crew at HD are super helpful- friendly

…one of them remembered I’m some kind of politico

He launches into a passionate defense of #45 and crudely denounces Kamala

?

…I’m all about being polite – so I cool him down to ask him why?

?

He reveals something that I see every day

…the Working Class is getting poorer faster than many other groups

Quality of life is declining in my small property poor town in rural New Hampshire

..which is a stark contrast to right up the road a piece in the Property Rich town where people’s net worth have soared in the last several years

?

To be perfectly fair, it not a deficit that only Kamala faces on the Blue Team

….. but in New Hampshire a chasm of ignorance that Republicans face as they continue to perpetuate a school funding system that no longer works

?

The Professional Class gets a cold, and the Working Class gets pneumonia

This is a group of voters that have been totally abandoned and discounted by both sides

?

Kamala’s performance at the Debate was Class A- #1

…she proved something that I’ve espoused for years that practice makes progress and then perfected.

Her well-rehearsed soliloquies, method acting facial expressions, hand gestures may have impressed the Professional Class (like me) but were a trigger to just so many Working Class Voters

The Kangaroo Full Court Press Debate of ..three against one was not lost on these voters --- that believe deeply in a Fair Fight

..this elite, smug, condescending insulting smack down to The Donald resonates strongly with how they feel about the Ruling Class

Kamala’s campaign of JOY was replaced by cynicism

…Long on Rhetoric ---? Short on Details

The young man behind the counter called her a Bull##iter

When… I asked why?

“She never answered any of the questions”

?

Hillary’s Deplorables comment is now the stuff or Rural Legend and these wise country folk

..are also burnt once and twice shy

?

What I love about the people in Rural America is their transparent Common Sense

..Yes…they do not total understand all the Macro/Micro- Details of the concept but they go with their gut

..this instinctive intuition which far exceeds the high minded over educated rationalism of the elites

They know Real when they see it

They know a Fake when they also see one

?

They are not convinced that Kamala is real …but a product of the Elite Administrative State --- that could care less about people like them

?

In New Hampshire this feeling also now extends to the GOP, especially in these Property Poor Towns who have patiently waited thirty years for the School Funding issue to be decided

While once upon a time back thirty years ago the NHGOP approach was sound, the economic dynamics have evolved, and their position is totally detrimental to these Working Class voters

?

This will be a first (for me) as I will not vote for the Red Team Candidate for Governor as she is an individual way behind the curve of this critical economic dynamic

….far too attached to the most powerful special interests as her massive campaign funding raising indicates

…much more a product of the Country Club GOP and not the Populous GOP

?…..who found religion in the Legislature last session to work with their Blue Team colleagues in a bipartisan manner to help provide relief to Property Poor Towns

This is what the Working Class is looking for

Results not Rhetoric

This Red Team Candidate will conduct a truly nasty and distasteful campaign to win and become one of the greatest special interest governors in this state’s history

?

This will also be a first as not only am I’m not supporting our local State Senator but actively endorsing her opponent

All the effort to provide this needed relief that found new coalitions in the House of Reps went to her committee in State Senate

…that she told the School Board and a long list of elected officials she would champion this legislation

..she did the opposite – Sent if off to Mercy Death in a Study Committee

This is the absence of Moral Clarity that troubles Working Class voters

?

The Flipflopping of positions for the expediency of self-interest is what Working-Class voters most abhor ….

?

These are simple folk that follow something so fundamental to Americanism

Who’s roots are deeply attach to the Scriptural Ethos of our founding

?

Your Yah’s are Yah’s ?& Nah’s are Nah’s

As I’m told by my constituents

…no amount of frosting can conceal what’s inside the cupcake

?

Harris is abundant on the Frosting and silent on the ingredients

?

Donald for all his warts, poor debate performance is very-very real

As my country folk would explain

…He’ll tell you where the bear Sh#ts in the woods

?

This level of authenticity is absent not only from Kamala but a wide range of other political types

The Working Class may not understand all the details but know the truth when they see it

…as these people are well aware of how many times they have been lied to by the self-serving elites

?

More than Joy

……the Rural Working Class are sharp on details

..even if they do not understand the finer points

…they possess a sixth sense that you possess proficiency – competency

?

Warts and all --- they know #45 got

The jury still out if Kamala is ready for Prime Time

In such a tight election that will be decided by thousands of votes by inactive or low propensity voters

Trump got the enthusiasm of that voter that identifies with his consistent if not imperfect behavior as something that they can go to the bank with

?

For Kamala a very brief opportunity widow that is perilous as her flip flops have created a question of doubt

…that in any election favors your opponent

…and is difficult to overcome

?

No amount of Joy can conceal the Truth
