Working with Charity’s

Working with Charity’s

This morning, I have had the sign off for another charity which we welcome on board like all other clients.

This got me thinking to why we have been so successful with charity’s and our approach to them.   We have a simple rule with Charity’s and that is; "you are no different to every other business we have on board and you will be treated the same way". What I mean by this is we will treat the agreement between us as a business transaction, so you get the same level of service as anybody else calling.

Taking this approach means your service is valued and there is never an excuse that something cannot be done.

That being said, if we do win a charity, we will make sure we support them in as many ways as we can. This could be as simple as taking part in a fund-raising event or taking a table at an event where we will bring other businesses, so the charity can be introduced to them. A great example of this is in 2018, one of our Senior Engineers took part in a world record attempt for the longest indoor football game for one of our clients/charity's who provide opportunities to disadvantaged young and vulnerable people in the local area. He and the rest of the team managed to break the world record lasting an amazing 72 hours which raised a great amount of money in the process.

On a more concerning note, we are seeing more and more charity’s that have been promised some sort of deal, free services, etc, and when we break down other parts of the bill or lease, we notice that there are some very concerning figures.

We obviously don’t work like this and make sure we will sit down with you understanding your set up and working environment and then will explain what we will quote for and why. We don’t have hidden costs and we certainly won’t be doing it for free….

If you require any further information about our relationship with charity’s or if you would like to meet and give you an overview of your current situation please contact me on 0330 333 2 333 or email me on [email protected]

Well done Simon, nice to see a company wanting to support the sector rather than rip it off.
