I discovered another amazing Amazon perk today- free books! There are a couple of "reading rooms" in two of our HQ buildings where any Amazon employee can go and pick out any book that is available and take it home. They are surplus from our bookstore team- advanced reading copies, uncorrected proofs, and others. I found a book of short stories by one of my favorite authors, T.C. Boyle and it made my day!
