Workflow Setup in D365 Finance and Operations

Setting up workflows in D365 Finance and Operations for modules without default setup, like Inventory Management, is straightforward. Follow these steps:

1. Add Display Menu Item:

• Right click on your project and go to Add >> New Item.

• Under Dynamics 365 Items, click User Interface and select Display Menu Item

Now, Open the Display menu item.

Set the following properties:

1. Enum Type: ModuleAxaptaEnum
2. Parameter: Choose your module (e.g., Inventory)
3. Object Type: Form
4. Object: WorkflowtableListPageRnr

2. Create Menu Extension:

• Build a menu extension specific to your module.

• Drag the display menu item you created into this extension.
