Work Preparator - Gent - 24 Month Contract - Maintenance Projects - Petrochemical Sector

Good Afternoon,

I am currently looking for a Work Preparator to work on a long-term opportunity within the Petrochemical Sector. The client has a specific requirement for a Work Preparator to join their team based in Gent, Belgium to work on multiple maintenance projects.

The client are a subcontractor who are working on a large petrochemical site and they are happy for any candidates with a suitable electro-mechanical engineering background. The work is due to go on for at least 24 months but are have packages of work to go on for up to 5 years

START: ASAP 

LOCATION: Gent

Contract length – 24 Months

RATES: Good Market Rates

Work Preparator – Petrochemical Industry – 2 Years - Gent

Specification:

·        At least 2 years experience as a Work Preparator

·        Dutch Speaker

·        Experience on maintenance projects

·        Qualification in electromechanical engineering – HBO

·        SAP experience

·        Petrochemical or process plant experience

Beneficial:

·        French language knowledge

The requirement for the role is to work underneath the Site Manager on maintenance projects across the site. You will be preparing work packages for the engineers and field workers after inspecting what work will need to be done on the site, creating work plans, liaising with external parties and booking appointments with external companies. 50% of your time will be spent on the office and 50% in the field.
