WORK WITH ME

Whether you are new to LinkedIn or an old head who has been following me, I think it is important to have a post to talk about my work.

The four key areas of focus for me are

EXECUTIVE COACH


I am very fortunate to be able to work with a number of senior leaders and executives in corporate and nonprofit organisations around the world. As an executive coach, my focus is to empower senior leaders to maintain a high performance for themselves, to determine the leadership strategies for their teams and to set the leadership tone for their organisation.

Executive coaching is not about telling people what to do but rather being a sounding board for those senior leaders as to how they can take the skills and knowledge that they have to the next level.

It is not for me to tell leaders how to run their organisation but rather to take an eagle eye view and leverage a series of tools, including assessments, questioning techniques and a good understanding of the people and commercial part of running their organisation.

My work has allowed me to work with many CEOs, Equity Partners, Founders, Executive Directors and Senior Leaders of well known blue-chip global organisations in the Finance, Technology, Energy, Law, Consulting, FMCG and Media sector. I have also been fortunate to work with leaders in global charities, universities, educational trusts as well as medium sized startups and scaleups.

This executive coaching is not for everyone but is specifically targeted at those senior leaders who are either in the exco or suites or just one level below with an ambition of becoming a senior executive in the organisation.

I thoroughly enjoy this work and see it as a privilege to be able to walk alongside many amazing leaders around the globe and to remind them that they deserve to be there and to lead by example.

My minimum coaching assignment is for six months, but usually, most clients work with me for at least a year. Some I have worked with for multiple years. I charge a premium so as not to waste people's time and I am quite transparent that this is an investment for those who want to take their personal and organisational leadership to the next level. I have also written a book called The Brave Leader, which summarises my thinking and practices as an executive coach.

I do 121 Coaching and Team Coaching for Organisation. I also run Group Coaching/Masterminds for those senior leaders who want to build their skills alongside executives at a similar level but not in the same organisation.


STRATEGIC ADVISOR

For organisations who are looking to grow and or scale, I work in partnership with the senior leadership team as a strategic advisor.

I like to get under the hood of the strategies that an organisation will use or hope to use in order to give shape and direction to that growth. So whether that growth is through new products, leadership development strategies, talent strategies or attracting and getting growth capital, I work alongside leaders to develop and test strategies to make it work. In essence, this is an extension of my work as an executive coach.

I call this service, FLIGHT PLAN. It is a holistic look at your strategies and how I can help you and your team reach your goals and destinations, through effective business strategies.


SPEAKER?


I am an international speaker that focuses specifically on subjects to do with leadership.

My key themes/topics are as follows

  • THE BRAVE LEADER - How to develop and maintain inclusive leadership
  • BEND BUT DON'T BREAK - Building resilient company cultures (and climates)
  • SUCCESS ON YOUR TERMS - Self-leadership principles and habits
  • A WELL TOLD STORY - Business storytelling for leaders

As a speaker, I like to entertain and inform using several rhetorical devices, presentation tools, research and vocal variety so that the messaging sticks with my clients long after I am gone.

I use several formats as a speaker which include the following

  • Keynote speaking (60 minute speeches)
  • Masterclasses (90 minute presentation)
  • Seminars (Half and Full Day Presentations)

I get to work with clients in person and virtually and as I always say you are not paying for one hour but rather five decades of experience.


LEADERSHIP PROGRAMMES

I have developed a set of leadership programs with a special emphasis on inclusive leadership for individuals, teams or whole organisations. These come under the banner of my signature program, THE BRAVE LEADER.?

There are three core programs that I am I have designed and co facilitate on both for clients in House and as general public programs.

  1. THE BRAVE EXECUTIVE is a program aimed at exco, C-suite and other forms of executive leadership within an organisation. The purpose of this program is for senior executives to see how inclusive leadership affects all areas of the business/organisation through the lens of strategic thinking, stakeholder management and inclusive decision-making.
  2. THE BRAVE SPONSOR is a program for organisations who wish to have a more intersectional and inclusive approach to sponsoring talent within an organisation. This program is targeted not only at the sponsor also to sponsees. Providing facilitation and coaching of the targeted audience that an organisation wishes to have a sponsorship program for.?
  3. THE BRAVE BOARD is an inclusive leadership program for organisations that wish to develop existing or pipeline leadership talent for their boards. This programme focuses on the principles of how operational boards (executive and management) governing boards (executive and non-executive), advisory boards, trustee boards and oversight boards, can recruit, retain and develop their board capacity
