Fish stocks in the Seymour River have been cut off from their traditional spawning grounds by the construction of the Seymour Falls Dam. The Seymour Salmonid Society collects adult fish and take their eggs, raise them and then they are released.
They raise Coho, Steelhead, Pinks, and Chum Salmon at the hatchery until they are ready to start their migration to the ocean.
