What does "working from home" really mean?
Many business owners have remote working arrangements as a result of the pandemic. We have talked in depth about many of the issues that arise when workers are located outside of their home province or country.?Before permitting employees to work outside of Canada, businesses should really do their research. Risks include losing access to provincial health coverage, not being eligible for benefits, and running into problems with taxes and residency.
Employees working from home should be given a well-written "work from home" policy.
