Words. Within.

I started writing voraciously amid the broken-heartedness to make sense of the pain and suffering. As the healing and expansion began, the words became an expression of my becoming. I don't know how the words come to me... I only know that each time a stream of consciousness hits, the heart dances. Especially on my intrepid travels. Here's a few of my favourites over the years.

+++++++

I Am That.

That sound of silence which robbed my voice, and brought on the inner songs of bliss.

That kiss of whispering winds which blew the illusion, and touched me with the real of Real.

That sweet aroma of joy which left me breathless, and invited a whiff of grateful fragrance

That scene of heavenly art which blinded my sight, and opened an inner vision of dancing clarity.

That which halted the senses as I know them, and recalibrated the deep recesses of my heart.

I am That.

+++++++

Seventh Heaven

Wow. 7th month. 7th day. 7pm.

Singing. Dancing. Smiling. I am.

This gift of light and beauty at seven

Sure is nothing but heaven.

A magnificent intersection of the 3 heavenly sevens

How did I come to deserve this beauty as given?

Perhaps, this manifestation of life's synchronicities

Really is the priceless pleasure of love and simplicity.

+++++++

The Rock

It is easy to miss

Amidst the glorious rush

But look intently

The rock stays solidly

Unwavered, emotionless

It just is, just be and

Yet it doesn't seem to exist.

Ode to Self

O’Indira

The stars dance for you

The mountains move for you

The deserts cry for you

Rise from the deep recess of your fears

O’Indira

Your heart cries with tears of joy

Your body discards the baggage of limitations

Your soul dances with the lightness of love

Believe in the miracle of possibilities

O’Indira

Drown in the consummation of love for your being

Spread your arms to receive the messenger of love

Release the eternity of your love to all who gives you love,

And flood this love to those whom you know deserve love

O’Indira

Spread this love through the timeless waters of the Nile

The faithful terrains of the mountains

The quiet holy dust of the deserts

And the seductive winds of this ancient land

O’Indira

You are Love.

You are Loved.

I am Love.

I am Loved.

+++++++

No Mountain Too High

Mt Qomolangma in Tibetan, the Everest Base Camp - my very own summit to scale,

A goal fulfilled, another milestone crossed - what a privilege, no, a gift indeed.

Challenges abound for this aspirant - afflictions of altitude no less,

Ferocious gusts and the tenacious sun - mere intimations of Nature,

A perfect epiphany of the sunrise deep within - rise and shine come what may.

+++++++

How to Know?

You do love me

How to know?

You planted kind souls on my path

Who guided and loved without an ask

You placed an arc of cherished colours

On the Siberian trail, so my being mellows

You pushed Mayic tendencies to the surface

Risen is my awareness, quickened is the tantric pace

You do love me

How not to know?

+++++

L.O.V.E

Now, what is love?

When she cooks for me every day, he says

When he remembers my birthday every year, she says

When we finish each other’s sentence every time, they say

Is this love? Is that love?

Love is not one but a many splendoured thing

Which almost always incite that heartfelt yearning

To bring to bear the purest of our emotions

And awaken that which is so real – yes, the soul ocean!

Here we are, celebrating a union

A cosmic play of love - oh so brilliant

Rohita & Haratma, our sister & brother

To be Husband & wife tomorrow, bravo!

Today, love is in generous servings

Your quiet romance, our deepest blessings

Drenched in the showers of His Grace from above,

Pray tell, brothers and sisters - what is NOT love?

+++++

Halo of Life

Through my looking glass

I saw the light of love

The halo of lifeI received the presence of beauty and spirit

A tad undeserving? I asked

But what the heck!

Life's a many splendoured thing

I was given as I had asked

The signs of love found the moment

to dance before my grateful eyes

What is that? You may ask

Crazy is the word that comes to mind

Humbled is what I think should suffice

Its what happens after every shower

You may say

But every sunset is such magic to me

Always.

+++++

The Infinite Traveller

Blessed to wander through this wondrous world

Blinded by the divine spectacle of this creation

Bestowed with the beauty of strangers' smiles

Bequeathed my heart, a pinch here and a sprinkle there

Belonged to one I no longer am - a lover of the Infinite, yes!
