?The old saying that 'sticks and stone might break our bones, but words will never hurt us' is NOT true! Words can be incredibly powerful - they can start wars, they can create peace, they can start relationships that last a lifetime, they can create civilisations.
?The words we use give rare insight into the workings of our unconscious mind.
?And, just as it is important to be careful with the words we use when talking to others, it's possibly even MORE important to be careful with the words we use when talking to ourselves.
If you had a young child sitting by your side listening to your self-talk as you go about your day, would that child be deflated and de-motivated by what he/she hears, or would he/she be inspired, uplifted and highly motivated?
If you are finding that your self-talk is pulling you down and would like some help changing it, lets have a chat and I can explain how I might be able to help you.
