Words of my 14-year-old self

Words of my 14-year-old self

As I read the words of my 14-year-old self, written in a letter to my future self, published in a blog back in 2010, I am filled with inspiration and hope. This letter serves as a powerful reminder to always keep pushing forward, to never give up on my dreams, and to always believe in myself.

Translating to English, the post reads:

“You will get your opportunity.
Get prepared.
If you have a dream,
Chase it!
Time does not wait,
Take action!
If you can't find a way,
Invent it.
If you feel afraid,
Dare!
You can achieve anything.
Show it.”

Finding this old blog post of mine couldn't have come at a better time. I'm currently pursuing the most challenging thing I have ever done - building a life navigation engine to help everyone reach their goals. It all began with an idea and a desire to utilize my problem-solving and process skills to address some of humanity's biggest challenges, such as lack of motivation, lack of purpose, duplication of effort in work, and a lack of information on the most effective path to achieve my goals, backed by real experience and evidence rather than just opinions.

?

We went through many ups and downs while trying to find a solution to solve this problem, but we keep persisting through. As my 14-year-old self said, “If you can't find a way, invent it.” Needless to say, everything has been an order of magnitude more complex than I imagined, but as of now, nothing has been impossible.

?

We've all been there, searching for a recipe on Google and getting bombarded with a whole bunch of irrelevant info, like fluff for SEO, ads, and even personal stories. But it's not just recipes; it happens all the time. But what if we could cut through all that and get straight to what we're looking for? That's exactly what socra is all about. We're going to make it super easy for you to find the best way to get what you're looking for by eliminating all the unnecessary fluff and showing you the routes that other successful users have already taken. So, less time wasted and more success for you!

In the coming months, we will unveil our site to the world for the first time. And we want you to be a part of this momentous occasion. By following our newsletter, you'll be among the first to know when we go live. From "becoming a full-stack developer" to "building muscles," socra is a community for everyone searching for the most effective ways of doing things. Together, we will improve how we do things as humanity and achieve great things!

If you know the best way of doing something (e.g.: peel an avocado, create a monorepo, build muscle-mind connection), please comment below. I would love for you to be the creator of the first "socra" (method) for the thing you are best at, and together we will build a community that will improve the way it's done even further.

P.S.: If you have already applied to be an alpha-tester, you will hear from us soon.

Cheers!

Well said, thanks for posting. This is both intriguing and very relevant. It always amazes me how you are able to combine career and passion so elegantly. Can't wait to see where this goes!
