The Word, Spirit and Truth. Easter: The Suffering for Salvation
?
At this time each year, we remember the sacrifice and suffering of Jesus the Christ, for our sins. But the time is come and is now, to do more than remember. The time has come to Honor that sacrifice and repay the suffering, for it is the price He paid for our souls. Time to fulfill our promise and walk in His example His honor, sacrifice and suffering as it is written. It is time to raise our hands and faces unto God and each one ask Him to, Set Me Free.
?
Brothers and Sisters, I desire nothing more than to bring all the joy of the Good News of Jesus the Christ. But to do so would be an injustice to all and false teachings that can lead unto hell. So be joyous and revel in God’s blessings…remembering the gift of salvation for which Jesus suffered greatly, to bring unto us must be paid for by our suffering as He suffered so we can glorify Him and be glorified in Him.
Take not my word, but His and rejoice, we suffer as He suffered for us and receive the Promise of eternal Life.
?
Romans 8:16-18 (KJV)
16 ?The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 ?And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 ?For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)
19?What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you and which ye have from God, and that ye are not your own? 20?For ye are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
?
1 Corinthians 10:12-15 (KJV)
12 ?Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
13 ?There hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
14 ?Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
15 ?I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
?
1 Corinthians 12:25-27 (KJV)
25 ?That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 ?And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 ?Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
?
2 Corinthians 1:4-6 (KJV)
4 ?Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 ?For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounded by Christ.
6 ?And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
?
Philippians 1:29 (KJV)
29 ?For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
?
Philippians 3:7-11 (KJV)
7 ?But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 ?Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 ?And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 ?That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 ?If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
?
Philippians 4:11-13 (KJV)
11 ?Not that I speak in respect of want for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 ?I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 ?I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
?
Colossians 1:23-26 (KJV)
23 ?If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24 ?Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
25 ?Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 ?Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
?
2 Thessalonians 1:3-8 (KJV)
3 ?We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other abounds;
4 ?So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5 ?Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6 ?Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 ?And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 ?In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
?
2 Timothy 2:11-13 (KJV)
11 ?It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 ?If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 ?If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.
?
2 Timothy 3:10-13 (KJV)
10 ?But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 ?Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 ?Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 ?But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
?
Hebrews 2:10-18 (KJV)
10 ?For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11 ?For both he that sanctifies, and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 ?Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
13 ?And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
14 ?Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 ?And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16 ?For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17 ?Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 ?For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.
?
Hebrews 5:7-10 (KJV)
7?Christ, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared,
8?though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered.
9?And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all those who obey Him,
10?being called by God as a high priest after the order of Melchizedek,
?
1 Peter 2:19-24 (KJV)
19?For this is thankworthy: if a man, because of his conscience toward God, endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20?For what glory is it if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if when ye do well and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21?For even unto this were ye called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps, 22?“who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth”; 23?who when He was reviled, reviled not in return; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously; 24?who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
?
1 Peter 3:18-20 (KJV)
18?For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit, 19?by which also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison, 20?who one time were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah while the ark was being prepared, wherein few, (that is, eight souls) were saved by water.
?
1 Peter 4:1-5 (KJV)
1?For inasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind, for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin, 2?that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3?For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lewdness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries; 4?wherein they think it strange that you run not with them to the same dissolute excess, speaking evil of you, 5?who shall give account to Him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
?
1 Peter 4:17-19 (KJV)
17?For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God. And if it first begin with us, what shall the end be of those who obey not the Gospel of God? 18?And, “If the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
19?Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in welldoing, as unto a faithful Creator.
?
?
1 Peter 5:6-11 (KJV)
6?Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7?casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. 8?Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9?Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.
10?But after ye have suffered a while, may the God of all grace, who hath called us into His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. 11?To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
?
Revelation 2:9-11 (KJV)
9?I know thy works and tribulation and poverty (but thou art rich), and I know the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10?Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried, and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of Life.
11?He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. He that overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.’
?
Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
11?And I saw a great white throne and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them.
12?And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13?And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. 14?And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15?And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
?
Remember, all will be judged, by what is written in the “Books” of Works. The Works of the wicked will mark their punishment, and the Works of the Righteous will mark their reward.
