Word Soup - for the goal!

I'm Angela Randazzo, and I've been on this writing journey for many years, Lordy, since childhood really. I started my career as a playwright and had the supreme joy of seeing my plays brought to life on stage. I've also been a news reporter, in print, radio and television and doing that job certainly opens up a window on the world. I've met so many interesting people, not just luminaries, but regular folks with their own unique and, many times, inspiring story to tell. In addition, as a member of the Writers Guild of America, I was part of the Hollywood scene writing teleplays and screenplays.

In the past twenty years my focus has been on novels and children's books that I also illustrate. I love magic and fantasy so all my works, be it an adventure, romance or mystery, have that element. I suppose my stories are my way of making sense of the world and escaping reality. Anyway, I truly enjoy going into the world of imagination where I can make anything happen.

But enough about me. Let's talk about YOU! I believe everyone has an artistic element in their being. One doesn't have to be a genius like Leonardo or driven creator like Vincent to express oneself. Throughout the years, I've participated in various forms in writing as a professional. I have a good idea on structure and creating plots.

Here's how I can help YOU. In my latest book, Word Soup, I share with you the things I have learned. In Word Soup you will find a common-sense overview of the ingredients you need to write the novel you've always dreamed of writing.

The subtitle of Word Soup is "Easy Recipe to PEN! PUBLISH! PROFIT!" In the "Pen" section you'll find the ingredients for creating a novel - how to construct a plot, how to create believable characters and key elements necessary for a successful story. "Publish" is a step-by-step outline to self-publish on Kindle Direct Publishing as well as tips on mainstream publishing. In the "Profit" section I offer many ideas to help promote and market your novel.

While the publishing and marketing of your book is vital, it's the "Pen" part I am most passionate about. I want to help you achieve your dream of writing a novel. It can be a scary undertaking especially if it's your first leap but with the parachute of Word Soup, it will be a soft landing. I'm mixing my metaphors flying and soup!
