WOOP! There It Is

WOOP! There It Is

WOOP - WISH-OUTCOME-OBSTACLES-PLAN

Earlier this month, my sister introduced me to an app called Optimize. One of the first lectures I heard was from Rethinking Positive Thinking which emphasized the acronym WOOPWish, Outcome, Obstacles, Plan.

When people ask why I decided to pursue real estate, the answer is that I knew exactly what I wanted: to be the number #1 real estate agent in the SoHo area for residential, retail and commercial properties. Yes...all three! My Wish was clear.

I knew that the real estate transactions down in SoHo were the most difficult - the buildings are all a little hairy - too many investors, too much debt, lots of fighting, costly repairs, high property taxes, etc. If I mastered SoHo, I could master anywhere!

The Outcome was to become the go-to neighborhood expert: knowing every business owner, organizing community events & fundraisers, and being a local activist. Four ways I help improve the community is:

  • Organizing a series of educational breakfasts for retailers & small business owners to strengthen their businesses
  • Launching a tourist map/guide of SoHo and distribute to the local hotels & advertisers
  • Spearheading a @CleanUpSoho initiative (see more below)
  • Bringing various areas of the community together (like tomorrow's Crosby Street Block Party! - see more below)

This month marks four years since starting Soho Strut (May 2013). By being at the pulse of all things SoHo, I have developed relationships with numerous buyers and sellers in the area!

I have faced many Obstacles but they were embraced without affecting my overall Plan. This month I listed two new properties in the area: 243 Mulberry Street in Nolita and 308 Mott Street in Noho!

As a side note: I work all over Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens so please don't hesitate on reaching out regardless of where you are looking to buy, sell or rent!

So WOOP There It Is! ....and since the song must be stuck in your head by now, here is a link to listen to "Whoomp! (There It Is)".

Sincerely,

Danielle Nazinitsky
