Stepping onto a scorching hot deck isn’t fun, so we conducted an in-house temperature test to see how Knotwood aluminium decking stacks up against other materials. During the test conducted on December 8, 2023, in Stapylton, QLD, we compared:

• Two leading composite brands
• Merbau timber decking
• Knotwood aluminium decking (interlocking and plank)

Using a controlled setup, we tested similar colours under the same conditions, tracking temperatures from morning to afternoon and after sunset.

The Results Are In
