A Wonderful Surprise/25 August 2022

????????????I was surprised when I received a phone call telling me that I would be receiving the Shattuck Chairman’s Award on September 28, 2022 at the Seaport Hotel.?I am honored to be joining city employees and civic leaders at this important event.?In one way or another, I have been involved with the Boston Municipal Research Bureau for over 50 years.?I look forward to celebrating with others who believe in the importance of good government for our city.

Congratulations Larry! This is so well deserved! You have given so much to this City through your leadership, wisdom, representation, and writing and to so many young people through your mentoring. For many of us who were away in August and may not have seen this on LinkedIn, I share it again today as you are being honored with the other Shattuck Award recipients.
