Let me tell you a story that indeed has occured back in 2017. I was initially excited to watch Wonder Woman, but I entered the theater with low expectations. However, I came out with a feeling that will stay with me for quite a while. I must say, I find action movies frustrating when the stunts are difficult to witness. However, Wonder Woman presented beautifully choreographed stunts with intense camera precision. I was thrilled that my eyes could truly appreciate the action sequences, unlike in recent superhero films where the stunt sequences were chaotic.
Wonder Woman was a deserving introduction to a character and a realistic fictional film. The melancholic and inspiring music perfectly complemented the story, and the casting was spot-on. To me, it was a complete package
Occasionally, it is soothing to escape into the world of fiction. Superhero films can make us reflect on the moral aspects of being human. In today's world, it is unfortunate that we often need reminders of the importance of feminism and gender equality. Thankfully, this movie didn't succumb to the illogical trends of so-called feminism. Instead, it portrayed the essence of World War II while giving the character a perspective and acceptance as a true hero, regardless of gender. Craftsmanship should never be gender-biased; it goes beyond gender, race, and religion. Patty Jenkins, the director, has surpassed many renowned and successful competitors, both male and female.
In conclusion, I'd like to share a personal opinion: "As inhabitants of this world, we are often ignorant of our fellow beings, other species, and different geographical locations." This movie reminded me of that fact once again. Let us strive to overcome our ignorance about people, races, religions, and the concept of being human. Let's aim to acquire knowledge about our world and beyond, so that we can learn to accept one another in our true essence.
