Wonder Women Wendy...

You may know Wendy Laureti for her calm, caring, compassionate and very professional and capable persona, but?in?case you didn’t know, our fearless leader and guiding light will be guest speaker at the “Women?in?Australian Wine” International Women’s Day Event, to be held at Doltone House Pyrmont, this Friday. ?Hosted by Lyndey Milan OAM - Award-winning multi-media presenter, food & wine teacher, consultant, debater and regional Australian specialist who makes numerous TV and culinary appearances….

This is no small deal.

There are 154?wineries and associated facilities?in?the Hunter Valley and hundreds more?in?other regions of New South Wales, let alone thousands around the country. ?Some high profile names in the industry have spoken previously, but our ?Wendy has been asked?alongside Jessica McLeish from McLeish Estate Wines this year.

This is recognition from her peers?in?the?industry and a testament to all her hard work?in?raising Saddlers Creek Wines from a “nice” boutique?winery, producing some very good product, to becoming the centre of attention, and now, TripAdvisor’s no1 thing to do?in?Pokolbin on Friday Night.

I’m so proud, not just because she’s my wife, but because it’s a great honour and fulfilment of all she’s worked for. ?I thought it was great to share this achievement with our work family.
