Hi! I’m Sara Iunia C?rstoveanu and I’m based in Bucharest, Romania?????

Can you share a bit about what you do in the role at Matchday?

• Absolutely! In essence, my role as a UI artist involves crafting visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces. I focus on designing elements like color schemes, typography, and layout to enhance the overall user experience, making digital interactions both functional and visually appealing. It's like being a digital wizard, waving my mouse instead of a wand, and conjuring up interfaces that make users go "Wow!"????

How long have you been with Matchday and was there anything specific that attracted you to the company?

• I've been part of the Matchday team since December 2023, so I'm still fairly fresh around here! What drew me in initially was the infectious passion and enthusiasm of the people. Also, working with a smaller team on a project that's continuously expanding is like having a canvas where creativity knows no limits. It's a dynamic environment that keeps me inspired and motivated.

What does a typical work day look like for you?

• Each morning kicks off with the invigorating aroma of coffee??courtesy of my wonderful husband. After catching up on emails and messages from my colleagues overnight, I dive into a relaxed and enjoyable call with my team. We chat about everything from board games to geography and even reminisce about third-grade math problems and childhood memories. Then, it's straight into the creative zone, creating and refining the screens I'm working on. Random calls with my creative team often spark bursts of inspiration, keeping my creativity flowing. Lunch with my husband, sipping on my morning coffee (I'm a slow drinker, guilty as charged!) is one of the highlights of my day. I might tend to my plants or sneak in a quick game on my Switch before diving back into work for the rest of the day. Evenings might find me catching up with colleagues from across the globe or take a leisurely bike ride. My days are never quite the same, yet they maintain a comforting rhythm. Since I started working here I’ve been enjoying my workdays from Bucharest, Madeira, my hometown and I can't wait to discover where I'll savor my morning coffee next."

• Embrace remote work by turning your workspace into a productivity haven, surrounded by plants, pets, and whatever you enjoy most in the comfort of home.
