Women's History Month at MTech

Approaching the end of Women’s History Month calls for us to reflect on the intention behind this month’s spotlight as being much more than celebrating the contributions and achievements of women in creating an ever evolving and inclusive society. This month also serves as a call to action to advance gender equality efforts throughout society. We must bring the awareness and advocacy necessary to level the playing field.

As reported by the McKinsey Global Institute, "creating more opportunity for women and the next generation is an aspiration and a very real goal that can lift the global economy as well as contributing to a more just society" (McKinsey & Company 2021).

In accordance with the need to prioritize the optimization of opportunities for women in the workplace, Munters and MTech’s 2021 Gender KPI’s projected that there were only 22% of?women?in the workplace and only 23% of those?women?are in leadership/management positions. Our set goal for 2025 is to reach 30% in both categories.

To do our part at MTech, we are focusing on gender diversity throughout our recruitment process, creating an equitable and transparent compensation program for all employees, continuing to create an inclusive company culture, and prioritizing having a healthy work life balance by offering our employees flexible work schedules whether they are working remote or at the office.

I am proud to work for a company that is actively helping to bridge the gender inequality gap in the tech industry.
