A Women's History Month Message from Jyoti Chopra

Dear Colleagues,

On International Women’s Day, we join together to honor the extraordinary achievements of women around the world. Today serves as a powerful reminder of the critical role we all play in fostering an environment that uplifts, celebrates and empowers women at every level of our organization and within our local communities. This year’s theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” calls on us to take steps toward a more inclusive world.

At MGM Resorts, we are dedicated to creating a culture where every voice is heard, understanding that diverse views are important for our success. Our commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion at every level of our organization is reflected by our inclusive policies and recruitment practices, support for community initiatives and investing in the growth of our workforce.

We aim to provide women and all the people within our company with the resources and support to thrive. From leadership development through our Professional Women’s Employee Network Group, to one-on-one engagement with our Mentorship Program, we strive to address the unique challenges faced by women.

Our commitment extends into our communities through our robust Supplier Inclusion program, ensuring that women-owned businesses have an opportunity to compete in our supply chain. This effort is strengthened by our Supplier Diversity Mentorship Program, where we share knowledge and strategies to enhance their operations.

And while we recognize that there is plenty of work still to be done, we are proud to be recognized for our efforts by recently being named to Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index and designated a Pinnacle Inclusion Company by Seramount.

On this International Women’s Day, let us celebrate women’s accomplishments, acknowledge the hurdles they continue to face and further our commitment to building a more equitable future. Let us all celebrate and honor the women in our lives. Together, we have the power to enact meaningful change and set the stage for future generations.
