Women's History Month: Adventurers
The women+ of Schuler Shook are always taking it to new heights, and today’s featured adventurers take that call quite literally. Meet some of our fearless folks as we continue our celebration of Women's History Month.
Caitlin Coffin, a Theatre Specialist and Dallas native, shares her inspiration for her work: “I love theatre and I love getting the opportunity to help build and plan out spaces that will eventually hold so many amazing artists and shows.” Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys going on walks, exploring different state parks, and spending time at the dog park.
Rachel Nagy, a Lighting Design intern based in our Chicago office, is a senior studying Architectural Engineering. Outside of school and her internship, Rachel loves camping, boating, and fishing on various lakes in Pennsylvania and Minnesota. Rachel shares, “I’m grateful to all of the women I’ve encountered in my life who have led me here, and even more grateful for the women throughout history who have cemented our spot in the building industry.”
Josie White, a Project Lighting Designer in the Melbourne office, spends her weekends watching the sunrise as a hot air balloon pilot in Victoria’s High Country. Josie shares, “I am drawn to the ephemeral characteristics of light – whether that be a slowly moving shadow, dancing reflections, or the ever-changing colour of daylight. Light often has a discreet presence and yet it also has a powerful ability to evoke emotion, memory, and connection to place.”
Join us next week as we introduce more of the extraordinary women+ of Schuler Shook!
