Healthcare Horizons Podcast

Our CEO, Steven Collens, recently launched a new podcast series called Healthcare Horizons, which highlights healthcare leaders who are challenging the status quo, developing novel solutions and addressing some of the industry’s greatest challenges.?

Our first episode featured Dr. Elizabeth Garner , chief scientific officer of Ferring Pharmaceuticals, who discussed the leading causes behind maternal mortality and explored innovative solutions to address the challenge.

Here are some recent accomplishments from our 51 Labs cohort:

• Partum Health raised $3.1M in Seed funding to expand access to pregnancy and postpartum care services.
• Elythea, a machine learning platform that enables doctors to catch and prevent life-threatening pregnancy complications, was backed by Y Combinator.
• Expect Fitness partnered with e-Lōvu to give moms access to their prenatal fitness platform where every workout is approved by OB-GYNs for the health of moms and their babies.?
• Nua Surgical, a women's health company with a patented solution to improve maternal health outcomes, won the Emerging MedTech Company of the Year award from the Irish Medtech Association.
