Women's Day Reflection: Are We Upholding Our Promises to Our Women Workforce?

Every year, various brands post content about Women's Day, capitalizing on the attention. But how many are actually taking steps to ensure that women feel secure and can perform better every day?

At Urja Communications, we don't limit our celebration of women to just one day. From organizing baby showers to calling the shots, there is nothing the women at Urja cannot do, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Whether a manager or an intern, every position is afforded equal opportunities. We firmly believe in two things- providing a safe environment and encouraging them to perform their best. Ensuring a comfortable environment will help them become the best version of themselves. By leveraging this platform, they can put their skills to the test and contribute quality work to Urja. This not only leads to career growth but also to the joy they experience in the process. Operating for 30+ years, we are pleased with how far we’ve come. Today, 22.5% of our staff in managerial, senior, and directorial positions are women, with women comprising 47% of our total workforce.

This Women’s Day, let’s pledge to move beyond token gestures and focus on creating lasting change. Reflecting on this, we must continue to keep the promises we make every day.
