Women's Day ... musings & more ...
On this International Women’s Day ... I wondered if one day is enough to make all the changes that we want??
And, I also wondered if women really need a day to feel their power??
And then I go ... what the heck? I loved the bunch of red roses that came knocking on the door, first thing in the morning!!
There is a long journey traveled from becoming a spectator, to being in control. From being driven in life by circumstances or others’ expectations, to being in the driver’s seat of my life.
There is a lot accomplished and a lot of success created. A long list of tasks completed, and many initiatives run! A lot of people touched, and deep impact-full work done!
Even as the dust on the women’s day celebrations settles, a new clarity emerges. The clarity of new goals, the clarity of a new vision, clarity of a new direction.
The plan is getting more vivid, as the picture emerges colorful and vibrant.
What has been a thought, is long awaiting to turn into live action.
With each new struggle, a new strength is born. With each new challenge, an opportunity is envisaged. Each time a situation arises to shake the ground, it’s time to grow new roots or new wings!
The sky is the limit, once you start looking at new horizons. The bright sunshine is invigorating, with its sparking radiance. The winter is all over and the spring time is right here! With the flowers and sweet fragrance, the new beginnings are ready to beckon.
One step at a time, I think change will surely happen. To begin with, just a day for women is good enough. Eventually I hope it will turn into an era ...
