From the Hall of Fame Gala with Anna Wintour and Sheila Johnson, the International Women's Forum celebrated 50 years of the founding of the New York Forum founding by Eleanor Guggenheimer with 3 days of incredibly packed agendas of the most dynamic, accomplished and courageous women's voices in the world.

It was a treat to reconnect with member of the House of Lords, Baroness Dambisa Moyo brilliant economist met in Montreal years ago and who is now board director at Chevron.

The conference panels participants represented a broad scope of topics, on the forefront of global leadership challenges. Not for the faint of heart...the panel Women changing Society that featured Gretchen Carson, the journalist who challenged the status quo that contributed to social change was impactful as it examined the continuing fight for equal pay, workplace culture and bias.

Impossible not to be thoroughly inspired by The Honorable US State Senator Kirsten Gillibrand ! I was thrilled to speak with and exchange about life in politics and public service. Her story of leaving a thriving private sector legal practice to become a public servant and sharing how she has helped pass dozens of bills based on bi-partisan interest across the aisle demonstrated the power of collaboration....go Senator!

The conference provided ample opportunity for behind the scenes visits, including to the United Nations , iconic of New York City.

Truly a privilege to be able to visit inside the institution halls including the Security Council chamber

Every IWF conference has a very special program called the Dine Around and I had the fabulous time with Margaret Schramm Horn who hosted a wonderful dinner event that provided wonderful exchanges in a lovely settting.

Finally a shout out to an emerging female artist who courageously launched her studio and career in New York City a couple of years ago, my daughter Morgane Richer La Fleche whose art integrates Quebec culture, literature and a uniquely feminine perspective about the body and its narrative in life of....
