Women Who Mean Business
Juliana Cardona Mejia
Serial Entrepreneur & Innovation Catalyst | Product Management, User Experience, Seed Capital
I am an immigrant. We moved to the US for safety. It took my mom cleaning offices at night and my dad working two jobs to keep us fed. I wake up every day to be worthy of their sacrifice. To be worthy of the life I’ve been given and with one prayer: use me. I care most about those overlooked by the system; theirs is a story of power, the entrepreneurs who hustle as much as my parents did.
At the root of everything I’ve done with Street Entrepreneurs is the belief that those closest to the problems have the insight to solve them. Our job is to be the nexus to education, mentorship, and capital.
I want to thank past honorees for paving the way, women I have long admired, such as @Sheila Johnson, @Virginia Ali, @Kimberly Ford, and many more.?
