Meet Miriam Boston, A Woman Who Leads...
Who or what has influenced you as a leader?
What influences me to be a leader is how many people I inspire on a daily basis. I'm thankful that God called me/ instilled the skills in me to motivate, empower, and uplift so many individuals around me. I pour out my life into others because everyone is worthy in everything they desire to do.
What book would you recommend to a young woman beginning her leadership journey? Why?
One book I would recommend is Everyday Magic by Mattie James, This book is amazing. It gives everyone the motivation to feel good about their everyday life.
In your opinion, what are three barriers or challenges women in leadership are still facing today?
Women faced many barriers and challenges in leadership. The first one is doubt since we are women, they doubt our skills and knowledge when it comes to higher roles in society. Second is recognition, we don't get the recognition we deserve. Women leaders tend to be overworked and under-recognized. Lastly is the pay gap, Women can obtain the same job as a man, but get paid less than them.

What is your "why"?
My why for being a leader is the impact I'm leaving on many generations after me and to this day. When people look/ hear me, I want them to leave inspired and knowing that no matter what this world throws at them, they are gonna keep moving forward. I want people to know that they are capable of doing anything they desire to do. That they have God every step of the way and to remain faithful, I want to be a living testimony to others.
Please share your WORDS OF GRATITUDE for women who have come before you.?
"She overcame everything that was meant to destroy her"
Please share your WORDS OF WISDOM for those young ladies who will come behind you.
Stay focused, You are worthy and chosen!! You got this!!?
