Women of Stature 2019 Part 2

In my 5 October 2019 post entitled, Artist Pracademic Extraordinaire: Professor Nnenna Okore, I am sure I mentioned that I hadn't met her in person until my rather privileged invitation to attend a private viewing of her exhibition, which took place at the October Gallery in London between 26 October and 2 December 2017.

I've been rummaging through my files for this glorious shot until today. So here goes.

She is surrounded by "hubby's classmates" from back in the day!

Her showcase on Igbo Art was entitled “Ukwa Ruo Oge Ya O Daa (i.e. There’s a time for everything).”

Indeed, there is a time for everything ...it is time to celebrate Part 2 of my Women of Stature series.
