We can not end the month without honoring the #women in our chamber and our community!?
As the VP of the South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce board of directors, I had originally planned to post about the women in our chamber and community each Friday of March 2023. As you can imagine this month was packed with many in-person events, this position is a volunteer position and I got too ambitious.
I am still about 2/3 weeks behind on posting photos, articles, #TikToks , and company contact information of people I met this month. It was a month filled with inspiration for me. I got to hear, see and meet many wonderful women, including our #vicepresident #KamalaHarris . Thanks to Luis A. Zamora 雷嘉華
Women are resilient, hardworking, detailed, passionate, compassionate, caring, smart, brilliant, did I say smart already? loving, kind and the list can go on.
In honor of Women's history month, I decided to search for all women in our South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce directory:
https://www.ssfchamber.com/directory.htm
I checked on #google and here on #linkedIn , I did not want to check #facebook or I would never end this task. haha!
If I missed anyone please email me a photo, (selfies are OK!!!), a short bio, the contact info you want to share, and a website.
As I started searching member by member I am so inspired by the diversity of businesses in our chamber! There are so many industries, services, and products represented by our members.
If tagged you, looked at your #linkedin profile (which I rarely do, I usually get 400+ views!), followed you, or send you a connection request it is because I found you on our #directory .
In my dreams, we will all get together one day, meet and greet each other, connect, network, and bond the way only women do it. Who is going to help me make this dream come true? My dreams always come true!
I ask for your support for our chamber, and for your presence at our events, it will make a huge difference to have the diverse representation of so many industries. I am sure we can also count on you for volunteer opportunities. I believe in the power of community and in the passion women put in everything they do! Please join us! Ask us how to get involved! This is my challenge to you! I know you like challenges just as much as I do.
We can build relationships, we can help each other, advise each other, and ultimately do business with each other. Build trust first and then the business follows.
I am in awe of all of the bios, websites, and information I found about many of these women. I look forward to meeting you all in the near future! Happy Women's history month, but also happy women's present and future!!! #SSF is the place to be, the biotech capital of the world, and we get to be part of this great community.

“Living in San Francisco for 30 years, purchasing multiple homes, and raising a family there, Alicia knows that it is a place where dreams come true. The event that showed her the true benefit of becoming a homeowner happened when she and her husband bought their first property in San Francisco in 1996, and one year later the property value skyrocketed! This made her realize the value of investing and owning your properties.
Since then, Alicia continued to advocate the virtues of homeownership to anyone who would listen and more than a decade later, inspired by her clear love of real estate, she decided to go into the real estate business to help other people achieve their ambitions of being homeowners themselves. She knows how exciting looking for your new house is and loves to experience that with every person she works with. She is passionate about her work, works diligently to fit your needs, and is blessed to be able to speak both English and Spanish. Being a firm believer that you can succeed at whatever you set your mind to, she adopts this philosophy in her work as well as her personal life.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, cooking, reading biography books, watching real estate shows, and listening to motivational podcasts whenever she drives. She has two children who are now in their late 20s. She is currently living her dream--now it’s time to begin yours!” https://luxeplaces.com/alicia-devora/
