As we celebrate International Women's Day, it's important to recognise the remarkable progress that women have made in such a short period of time. From fighting for the right to vote, to breaking down gender barriers in the workplace, women have achieved incredible milestones and have proven time and time again that they are a force to be reckoned with.

We cannot be na?ve; we must admit that we still have a long way to go in the fight for gender equality. But as the saying goes, Rome was not built in a day, and we cannot expect gender equality to be achieved overnight. Neither will it be achieved through a sense of entitlement or through demands; it is only with humble passion, commitment, and perseverance that we can make a true and meaningful difference.

One thing that is essential to remember is that a woman does not need any special powers to achieve success. All she needs is passion, commitment, and the determination to succeed. It's important for women to strive for success because it is something that they want and what they do makes them happy, not to prove themselves just because they are women. Whether it means pursuing a career, raising a family, or both, women should do what makes them happy and always do it to the best of their ability.

As we celebrate International Women's Day, my message to all women is to block out what society tells them to be and focus on themselves. What do they want to be? What makes them happy? Whether it means being a leader, a mother, or both, always do what makes you happy and do it with pride.
