What are the benefits to having women in leadership??

To be successful, we need to problem-solve and I think women offer behavioral patterns and values that differ from men, defined by their experiences in the world, that contributes to this success. Companies that have a diverse leadership and an increased representation of women outperform those that don't - this is fact.??

What do you think are the most important qualities of a successful leader??

A strategic mindset is key, but also the ability to influence, challenge and inspire people.??

What do you think are the biggest challenges facing female leaders today??

Tackling imposter syndrome. It's easy to over-analyze everything! Understanding that imposter syndrome exists - but I believe can be overcome by creating a work environment for women (and men) that promotes diverse leadership styles, and gives people the confidence, tools and support to thrive as leaders.?

How does HH Global support and encourage female leadership roles like yours in the business???

I have been coached by male and female leaders and mentors - starting as a Marketing Executive in 2014 and moving into the role I have today as a Global Operations + Commercial Director. Either through formal mentoring sessions, one-to-ones with my boss or conversations at the coffee machine - these positive interactions have made a huge difference to me personally.?

What are the benefits to having women in leadership??

I believe women's representation in leadership is critical. Women can recognize biases that sometimes men cannot which helps create a more balanced culture. Women can influence the issues that affect them better from an informed perspective. For inclusive growth, diversity is required.?

What do you think are the most important qualities of a successful leader??

I think one of the most important qualities of a successful leader is the ability to “unlearn.” To unlearn requires awareness, humility and a willingness to improve.??

?What do you think are the biggest challenges facing female leaders today??

There is often a lot of uncertainty surrounding women who become leaders, it sometimes feels like you have to work twice as hard to not only prove yourself but also to establish your identity. You can easily be boxed in depending on how you present yourself. I used to constantly police myself in terms of how I spoke, wrote and presented myself. Finding my unique voice and not being afraid to express it was the most difficult challenge.?

How does HH Global support and encourage female leadership roles like yours in the business??

I consider myself extremely fortunate that HH Global supports and represents queer and female voices. The company also promotes female leadership and works to develop a larger pipeline of female candidates for leadership positions. We at HH Global believe that having a diverse range of voices makes us stronger!?
