An interview with Ms Andiswa Mlisa, SANSA's Acting CEO and the first female head of an African national space agency

Ms Andiswa Mlisa confidently stepped into the role of Acting CEO of SANSA following Dr Val Munsami's resignation as CEO after a five-year tenure. According to Ms Mlisa, a remarkable author and formidable leader, she intends to direct her expertise as the former Managing Director of SANSA's Earth Observation arm to position SANSA as an enabler and bring together the various players in the space sector across the country and create an environment of value co-creation, where each player recognises the value they bring and the benefit they derive from others.

In this interview, she sheds much-needed light on the progress of SANSA's ongoing projects and her priorities as the agency's new leader.
