Women in Philanthropy

Women in Philanthropy

March is National Women's History Month, designated to honor women's achievements throughout history.?

We may not be aware, but gender inequality remains a global problem. Women are usually less supported and their accomplishments are often underappreciated than men. There are some countries where women even do not have the same rights as men. I don't think it is right. Women must have access to education, health care, career, and all equal opportunities.

I've met many successful women in my professional network. I have many female students who are smart and hardworking. From my point of view, women and men are different but equally valuable in many respects. I am always striving to do something to further this cause.?

On International Women's Day (March 8th), I had the honor of having six women leaders share their knowledge and experience in my philanthropy class. The professionalism, positive attitude, and energy they brought to the class truly inspired me and my students. It was a real pleasure to have these female guest speakers who could serve as role models for my female students.??

I encourage you to think about gender inequality and women's empowerment if you have never done so. Let's celebrate National Women's History Month together and express our gratitude for all the women in our lives.?
