(10/4/2022) Women's Sport - Your Next Sponsorship Investment?

On Tuesday, Two Circles , SportsPro and Visa put on an event to help brands better understand what positive impact an investment in women's sports sponsorship can bring, and give rights-holders a brand perspective on how to adapt their women's sponsorship propositions.

The expert panellists were:

?? Dominic Burns from TikTok

?? Olivia Hughes from Procter & Gamble

?? Annie Panter from Two Circles

?? Guy Martin from Visa speakers

Some of the takeaways from this (thanks to Rebecca Sowden ) included TikTok 's reasons for partnering with women's sport -

?? Diversify content (not just a ‘dancing’ platform but establish themselves in sports)

?? Reputational benefit & being associated with women’s sport & it’s journey

?? Financial through future brand partnerships like that of Nike & Tik Tok around Euros

?? As an entertainment platform with 55-60% of users being women, it’s important for users to be their authentic self so D&I is at the heart of that

?? Being a ‘Broadcaster’ and gaining access to content people crave (& sportswomen as amazing content creators)
