"Women Leaders: Experience in Team Management and Growth from Scratch"

Generally, what are your thoughts on team management in any working environment?

As an aspiring women leader, I would like to address the myth that as a Project Manager/Team Lead in any company, you should not aim to please everyone or be overly accommodating, trying to be friends with everyone on your team. However, this approach doesn't work in all teams. People from different countries, states, and cities might work together, each with their unique mindsets, thoughts, perceptions, and ways of understanding things.

WomenLeadership

Yes, it can be a challenging task to understand each individual in the team and align them with common goals. However, if you know the right way to manage everyone on the team, you can gain valuable experience. It's not easy to handle and manage everyone from day one, but it becomes more manageable with strong leadership skills.

If a woman is starting her climb in a professional environment, she should be prepared to face both ups and downs. She may encounter various struggles and hurdles that she must navigate using her traits and skills.

A woman should always carry a smile on her face, a crown on her head, and a tool in her hand to survive in a team. She should be ready to take care of her team, navigate personal attacks, deal with gossip, and handle humiliation without getting distracted from the team's goals and objectives.

She should be empathetic and strive to understand each individual in the team, helping them achieve both personal and professional goals. She should also make others understand their value within the team, which can help avoid superficial contributions and focus on the team's genuine accomplishments.

A true leader must lead by example to effectively manage a team. Despite the emergence of countless technologies and AI, which can mimic human behaviour, true leadership can only be provided by strong personalities. If you're not already a strong leader, this process will help you develop the qualities needed.

Devise smart training plans and help your team members achieve them. Align personal and professional goals, clarify objectives, and emphasize the importance of teamwork.

Somewhere, I've always wanted to express and share these thoughts with strong individuals out there. This is to better understand how other women leaders are excelling or to assist those who may be stuck in their learning process.

Never quit the journey or take a step back. At some point, you'll have the opportunity to prove yourself.

Don't fall into the trap of having your growth stolen by others. Build your empire and ignore such distractions.

  • Create a happy and culturally rich environment rather than seeking it from others.?
  • Listen to people's problems rather than focusing on rumours.?
  • Encourage positivity instead of getting caught up in gossip.
  • Establish boundaries to separate personal and professional matters.
  • Encourage openness and transparency rather than small lies.
  • Help your team focus on their bigger dreams rather than dwelling on past minor failures.

So, be powerful, spread positivity, and stay strong. Keep grooming your leadership traits every day.?

Wishing all the women out there a happy journey in leadership.
